Anthony & Tiffany Salerno's music helps bring bedtime anxiety relief

Earlier this week, Anthony and I re-read and soaked in Alayna Nord's testimony about her daughter, Lily, a delightful girl who was struggling with anxiety at bedtime — until she started a new bedtime routine of reading a devotional with her family and listening to our CD, “I Am a Worshipper,” by Anthony & Tiffany Salerno on repeat. She used to be afraid to sleep alone, but now she is content in God’s presence as she peacefully falls asleep.

Psalm 34:4 says, “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” That pattern applies to all ages! God wants us all to be free from fear and free to sleep well. If you or your kids struggle with fear or sleep, seek the Lord! He will hear you and deliver you.

Furthermore, Psalm 127:2 says, “He giveth his beloved sleep.” We are God’s beloved children, so He gives us the gift of sleep. To everyone who gives themselves to Christ, that’s a promise we can all claim. When your living reality does not match up with what the Bible says, tell God’s promises back to Him and He will be faithful to keep them — sometimes in part by teaching you what to do to access the love, joy, peace and wholeness He wants you to have.

Alayna’s testimony in her own words:

We thank the Lord for what He has done and pray He would continue to work in Lily’s life — and also in other children’s lives through kids’ worship music, hopefully including ours!

If you know any children who struggle with anxiety, insomnia, or any other emotional or sleep related issues, try Bible-based devotional and kids' worship music!

As Alayna and Lily found, it can make a real difference — at bedtime and beyond.
